Globe Life is changing! A different topic each day; the same great coverage.
Since Globe Life debuted, it's met with resounding acclaim from readers and advertisers alike.With two years under our belt, we're now fine tuning Globe Life to better accommodate their interests.
Starting Monday, June 15, readers and advertisers will find Globe Life's offerings reworked based on their comments and some fresh editorial ideas. While many favourite columns remain, we're adding some new ones, some new topics and some new names to our lineup.
Globe Life Weekly Lineup

On Mondays, Globe Life will focus on topics like pregnancy, parenting, adult family relationships and coping with aging parents. Monday's line-up will include:
- Author and clinical psychologist Anthony E. Wolf's biweekly strategies for raising teens.
- Heavy Petting, Rebecca Dube's biweekly column about pets and pet culture.
- Judith Timson, who'll put a Life "spin" on topical issues in the news from politics to social trends every week.
TUESDAY: Work & Money
Tuesdays at Globe Life will be all about money: earning it, saving it, spending it. From consumer trends to trends in the workplace, we'll examine every aspect of what makes the world to go 'round. Among Tuesday columns will be:
- The Office, Sarah Boesveld's weekly look at office culture.
- Currency, Sarah Hampson's biweekly musings about our relationship with money.
- Mr. Miser, one man's biweekly report on his quest to live life well--and on the cheap.
- Smart Cookies Tip, a weekly personal finance tip from Angela Self of the popular money mentoring team, The Smart Cookies.
- My Last Stupid Purchase, in which notable people talk about their most recent regrettable purchase each week.
WEDNESDAY: Food & Wine
Wednesdays will be dedicated to everything that makes life worth living. Wednesday Globe Life columns will include:
- Decanter, Beppi Crosariol's ever-popular weekly wine column.
- In the Kitchen, weekly recipes by our rotating roster of star chefs from across Canada.
- Food for Thought, Leslie Beck's weekly look at issues related to diet and nutrition.
- The Spread, Sue Riedl's biweekly reviews of artisanal cheese.
- The Dish, Alexandra Gill's weekly reviews of Vancouver restaurants for our B.C. edition.
THURSDAY: Personal Health & Fitness
On Thursdays Globe Life will cover developments in personal health, nutrition and exercise. Columns slated for Thursday include:
- Second Opinion, a weekly look at general interest health issues by Andre Picard.
- Jockology, Alex Hutchinson's biweekly reports on the latest scientific studies of exercise.
- Power Crunch, which reveals the workout routines of famous Canadians--like Justin Trudeau, Monika Schnarre and Yann Martel--every two weeks.
- Seriously?, in which Canadian health experts answer common medical questions every week.
- Two new monthly columns from Amy Verner: one on trends in exercise and fitness classes, the other on trends in fitness gear.
FRIDAY: Relationships
On Fridays, Globe Life will look at the things that make us human: dating, love, relationships, marriage and sex. Friday columns will include:
- Generation Ex, Sarah Hampson biweekly musings on divorce.
- The Other Half, in which Micah Toub examines the psychology of relationships from a male perspective every two weeks.
- Group Therapy, weekly advice on readers' relationship dilemmas from Claudia Dey and other readers.
- The Love Poll, the results of our weekly online poll about readers' sex and relationship issues.
