Future Lions closes on May 4.

The competition, which is sponsored by digital agency Akqa, gives students 18 and younger a chance to have their work presented "on the world stage and in front of the top global agencies at the Cannes Advertising Festival 2009."

The challenge: "Advertise a product from a global brand in a way that was not possible five years ago--to an audience you choose.

"Think about what's around now that wasn't around then. As technology is constantly changing, this is your chance to come up with the next big thing. Invent a new medium. Use something traditional in a way no one's thought of before."

In short, the contest sponsors encourage entrants to "shatter conventional thinking."
