Sure, Cannes Lions takes place on the French Riviera, with its golden sands, tanned bodies and endless nights. But it isn't all schmoozing on the beach.

The Globe and Mail is proud to be Canada's official festival representative and is dedicated to supporting every Canadian who participates--as an entrant, a judge or a delegate.

Online entries opened early in 2012. Visit the Cannes Lions website for everything you need to know, and for the extras, like tips from the Jury Room from last jury members and presidents.

The entrant company does not have to be an advertising agency. The person submitting the entry can be anyone involved with the work - the client, production company, design company etc.

If any agencies/other parties were used to create the submission, they should be credited n the appropriate fields.

All advertising or work entered must have been launched for the first time between March 1, 2011 and April 30, 2012. Click here for a list of other key dates.
