Addressing an Unmet Need

While mainstream media do a good job reporting on corporate Canada, few publications deliver actionable content that investors can use to make timely decisions about asset allocation or fine-tuning existing portfolios. At the same time, while not-so-mainstream media like newsletters and blogs may offer hot investing tips, many lack the credibility that serious business journalism affords. Interestingly, Canadians who recognize that they're missing--and needing--this kind of content also happen to be among those most likely to be willing to pay for financial advice.

What's more, Globe Investor magazine is only Canadian publication that gives investors:

  • Opinions from this country's most-trusted and authoritative writers.
  • Sound reporting on M&A activities and rumours as well as analyst upgrades and downgrades.
  • Detailed information about often-overlooked companies, including businesses best-suited to growth portfolios and those better for value-minded investors.
  • Advice about a number of portfolio products--including equities, income assets and derivatives--and strategies like hedging.
  • The latest on international and emerging markets.
  • A sponsored technical analysis feature to help readers become better chart readers.
