QualificationsYoung Marketers must meet these qualifications:
- Be 30 or under (born on or after June 22, 1982.
- Work in the marketing department of a client organization - not an agency.
- Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada (Work Permits do no qualify).
- Have a valid passport - which the winning team must provide before accepting their prize.
- Have reached the age of majority in your province/territory of residence.
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent. And,
- Have strong English skills (all entries are written & presented in English).
What will you win – aside from a career altering experience?A trip to Cannes and the chance to compete in the 2013 Cannes Lions Festival’s Young Marketers competition – June 16 to 22.

And, thanks to the generosity of the Young Marketer Patrons, the Silver and Bronze winning Young Marketer teams will attend the Festival. Silver and Bronze winners will receive flights, hotel and full festival passes. Please note that only the Gold winning team qualifies to compete in the Cannes Young Marketers competition.

In 2012 our Young Marketers Won in Cannes!Canada’s Young Marketing dynamic duo, Aaron Nemoy and Brad Canario, Brand Managers from Campbell Company of Canada, were crowned with bronze at the 2012 Cannes Lions Festival. Their winning entry, "School of Fish" is now housed in the Cannes Lion archive.
