There's so much to consider when building or redesigning a Web site. Your site is your brand's best suit or new dress – a visual representation of who you are and what you're all about. But it's also your elevator pitch, and your first opportunity to make an impact with your target consumer.

We've entered a time of "Internet Collectivism" -- at least as far as the creation of digital content is concerned. Increasingly online publishers, marketers, even consumers themselves are enlisting other Web users to help produce and improve online materials. It's a concept that has gained traction as wikis, consumer-generated media (CGM), and crowdsourcing have grown online.
