Classic Photos Re-Created in Lego

Because it's Friday, here's something just for fun. And, because your humble blogger spent most of the past two weeks struggling with technology, here's something decidedly analogue.
The U.K.'s Telegraph is reporting on artist Mike Stimpson's re-creation of iconic 20th Century photographs, using that much-loved medium, Lego.
The story includes links to the original classic pics and to Stimpson's Flickr photos that show how he set up his own versions.
Just goes to show that you don't always have to have the latest "slices, dices and colour-corrects to boot" software to be creative... sometimes a simple instinct for play can deliver enchanting results.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to reinstalling my "slices, dices and colour-corrects to boot" software. :)
