Canada’s Young Marketing dynamic duo, Aaron Nemoy and Brad Canario, Brand Managers from Campbell Company of Canada, were crowned with bronze at the Cannes Lions Festival 2012, last Friday afternoon. Considering this is Canada’s first year entering the Cannes’ Young Marketers competition, Aaron and Brad’s victory is a truly triumphant end to their long journey.

As the winners of The Globe’s first-ever qualifying Young Marketers competition, Brad and Aaron were sponsored by The Globe to attend Cannes and put their award-winning skills to the test on the world stage.

Brad and Aaron brainstormed the idea “School of Fish,” for the global charity, ‘Room to Read.’ Their award-winning concept encourages North American kids and their parents to read up on the Goldfish brand story and then connects them with illiterate children in the developing world.

The Globe and Mail would like to congratulate Aaron and Brad on their collaborative thinking and hard work, which proved to be the perfect creative crunch – winning them Canada’s first Young Marketers trophy. We’d also like to send a round of applause to all the Canadian Young Lion teams who participated at Cannes… we look forward to seeing your entries in 2013.
