We made History
For the first time in our history, The Globe and Mail published a Sunday edition during the run of the Games. That made The Globe the only newspaper in the B.C. host cities to provide wall-to-wall coverage, for the entire course of the Games.
In addition, we published a daily Olympic section, several pre-Games special sections and a wrap-up section following the conclusion of the Games.

- 17 Olympic Games sections (256 pages in total)
- 7 more special sections over the past 383 days (128 pages in total)
- 468 stories in print
- 13 editorials
- 605 photos
- 32 graphics
- the first Sunday edition in our history. Three weeks of them -- sold out in many places.
